Paddlefest offers a variety of recreational, environmental and community focused activities and events during the festival. From paddling events to a beach clean up, nature walks to an artist market, there’s plenty to see and do!

Gentle Hatha Flow w/ Trudy Fitzgerald
Friday, May 16th at 3:30pm - Join Trudy Fitzgerald for an afternoon session of Gentle Hatha Flow yoga at the Wesley United Church

Dog Training w/ Tailwise
Friday, May 16th at 4pm - A dog training session w/ Tailwise , this special treat is FREE for Paddlefest Weekend Pass and Main Stage Pass Holders. Spots are limited, so fetch your place at tailwise.ca before they're all gone! Have some fun, learn a little, and pretend we're not all covered in dog hair.

Wharfbound Trail Run
Saturday, May 17th at 8:30am - The Wharfbound Trail Run is a trail run that begins at the St. Andrews Wharf with participants running on the beach and trails all the way to Minister's Island and back. It’s a self monitored fun run with staggered start times and post-event refreshments. It’s a hard trail and is recommended for experienced runners.

Paddlefest Artist Market
Saturday, May 17th at 10am - Happening in market square, featuring local artisans and vendors selling hand-made goods such as artwork, soaps and cosmetic products, pottery, clothing, food and more

Fundy Discovery Aquarium Opening Day
Saturday, May 17th at 10:00am- The Fundy Discovery Aquarium’s opening for the day for the season! The Aquarium is open from 10am-5pm.

Kid's Show w/ Razzmatazz
Saturday, May 17th at 11:30am - Join us at the Dunn Theatre at the Huntsman Marine Science Centre for a performance from award-winning children’s act Razzmatazz. Kids Concert is By Donation

Big Canoe Session w/ Canoe Kayak NB
Saturday, May 17th at 1pm - Come for a group paddle in Canoe Kayak New Brunswick’s big canoes! Each session begins with an introduction to big canoe safety, basic paddling skills, and canoeing heritage. This is followed by a group paddle led by a Paddle Canada-certified Big Canoe leader. Trips are family-friendly and offer fun, hands-on learning experiences. Life jackets and paddles provided.

Sound & Ground Yoga w/ Grounded Growth
Saturday, May 17th at 10am - Irene Graham will guide you through a yang/yin style practice, while Pseudonaut uses sound and rhythm to fully engage your senses. Music and yoga combine in this playful practice that leave you feeling grounded, connected, and blissed out.

iNaturalist Nature Walk w/ Nature NB
Saturday, May 17th at 11am - Join Nature NB for the “iNaturalist” Nature Hike” at Simpson’s Hill. Participants will wind their way up to the top of Simpson’s Hill to take in some spectacular views over the river. The hike will also feature a session on how to use the app “iNaturalist”, a great resource for identifying plants and animals wherever your adventures take you.

Yoga w/ Yoga Rhythm
Sunday, May 18th at 9am - Greet the day with yogi Luke Bailey as he combines elements of Sivananda yoga, sound therapy qigong and capoiera. This yoga sessions will be in Centennial Park, weather permitting

Paddlefest Beach Clean Up
Sunday, May 18th at 10am - Join The Fundy Baykeeper and the St. Andrews Cubs for a family friendly beach clean up of Minister’s Island. Bags and gloves provided.

Guided Hike w/ Nature Trust of NB
Sunday, May 18th at 10am - Join the Nature Trust staff at Caughey-Taylor Nature Preserve for a guided wellness hike amid the stunning landscape of this beautiful preserve, in partnership with Paddlefest. This hike is an estimated 2.5-3 hours and 5.5 kilometres on variable terrain and is not recommended for those with mobility issues.

Paddle for Peace w/ Seascape Kayak Tours
Sunday, May 18th at 10:30am - Join Paddlefest founder Bruce Smith for his Paddle for Peace in support of conservation efforts for the Bay of Fundy. A 3 hour trip launching from the St. Andrews Wharf and circling Navy Island and around the Bay. $65.00 pp with boat rental /$35 pp with your own gear.

Pedalfest "Rolling Rave"
Sunday, May 18th at 11am - Join Owen Jones for a brand new event, the “Pedalfest Rolling Rave”! Grab your bike, skateboard or rollerblades, get active and join the fun! Wheel your way down Water Street and down the Van Horne Trail with some funky tunes guiding the way!

Paddlefest Drag Show w/ Dahlia Dior
Sunday, May 18th at 11am - The first ever Paddlefest Drag Show featuring local queen Dahlia Dior! The show will be at Sunbury Shores and admissions is Pay What You Can. A cash bar will be open featuring mimosas and fun brunch cocktails!

Dragon Boat Workshop w/ St. Andrews Paddling Club
Sunday, May 18th at 1pm - Join the St. Andrews Paddling Club for a crash course in Dragon Boating and learn more about their Race By the Sea event in fall 2025!

Funeral For The Bay w/ Peskotomuhkati Recognition Group
Sunday May 18th at 1pm - Local citizens are deeply concerned for the health of the Bay of Fundy, and will be gathering to express their eco-grief for a funeral style procession down the Wharf, complete with music and artwork.

NGO & Environmental Fair
Sunday, May 18th at 2:30pm - To close out our 2025 events we will be hosting a NGO & Environmental Fair at Sunbury Shores. come learn about local NGOs and conservation efforts for the region.
