The Brood play dark and quirky songs that float along like scenes from a night’s dream. Lynchian vibes at the discotheque. Intricate musical interplay, but over a beat you can groove to. The band’s musical recipe is thus: equal parts vocals, keyboards, bass, guitar and drums, interlocking in an electric dixieland tapestry with nods to new wave, disco, psychedelia and grunge.
